A new bi-weekly D&D campaign started on November 3rd with the Fellow Foes. Three paladins and two clerics traveled to Theymarsh on pilgrimage to the Temple of Old Life. Though the circumstances in which they joined together could be viewed as strange their adventure they are about the begin will take the cake for oddness.
Tharin and Thorin Munch, a bright cleric and a charming paladin respectfully, are Hill Dwarf brothers seeking fame and adventure throughout Faerun. These two are already folk heroes but it couldn’t hurt to save a few more villages just to help with public relations. Tharin is calm and calculated but usually plays second fiddle to the compulsive and theatrical heroics of Thorin.
Aelen Naikïr is a rougish Wood Elf cleric with a secretive background. Outwardly he is a jovial prankster but the other party members may soon find that he is a war hardened weapon.
Rhogar Turnuroth takes orders directly from the voice of Corellon which sometimes makes his life go sideways but when he doesn’t listen life goes upside down. This Dragonborn paladin keeps his mind off of his troubles by enjoying the carnal pleasures of women and ale sometimes so far as to his own detriment. He’d self destruct if Corellon would permit him to.
Naeris is the nerdiest Half-Elf paladin you’ve ever meet. His insatiable need for knowledge is placed above all other things in life. He can speak 5 languages and in all of them he’s just as awkward.
As the sun set over the Alamir Mountains and the people of Theymarsh sat down for supper a rider arrived at the North gate, bleeding to death, to deliver word that the town of Oakwood was under attack by the undead. Our adventurers took up arms and set out to try to save the peoples of Oakwood from this unnatural invasion. They arrived just in time to save the folk holding up in the small church and destroyed the dark scrolls summoning the skeleton warriors to the small town.
In two weeks on Nov 16th the heroes will hopefully discover the evil that is terrorizing the region near the Lake of Steam.
