Castin is the former Captain of the Guard at Bansu Castle. Having been near-mortally wounded attempting to escort a violent criminal to a far-off planet, Castin now functions with the assistance of cybernetic arms and an artificial heart. Among his many accomplishments is the defeat of “The Kendal,” a man posing as a god for his own evil motives. The career which followed as Captain of the Guard ended tragically in a mis-communication.
Castin was later punished and is no longer Captain of the guard but just a Captain and he hopes he can someday reclaim his title and then go beyond. But right now he hopes to get revenge for Sulan’s death.
