Brodin Doorhan is 5’9″ tall and weighs 135 lbs (he’s average height & thin) with short cropped gray hair, a goatee and brown eyes. He has a light complexion and no scars. Most would think of him as mildly handsome until he opens his mouth. His health is poor, time has not been kind to him.

Brodin was born in MV886 to Strund Doorhan and Deeze ALTOR Doorhan in Bridgeholm. Both parents still living in Bridgeholm. He is the middle child of five. Mom and dad were not very innovative so the given names of his four brothers all begin with the letter ‘B’, so in order the boys are Buella, Barale, Brodin, Beezel and Bing.

Personality Profile [sws_short s=”pers”]
Brodin is a natural born leader. He lives in a world of possibilities where he sees all sorts of challenges to be surmounted, and he wants to be the one responsible for surmounting them. He has a drive for leadership, which is well-served by his quickness to grasp complexities, his ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and his quick and decisive judgments. He is a “take charge” person.
His perception is that he was the ignored ‘middle’ child. Again, he mostly ignores his parents and brothers, wherever they are. As a child, other kids would call him names like “Broody” because this would inflame him and send him out of control. He has a low tenor voice and he uses high-speak often. Because of his recently declining health, he is typically grumpy and snippy with most people, unless he’s manipulating them, of course.
Brodin’s strongest fear is loss of control or power. Except for this, he has no phobias. He dislikes social gatherings (unless he is executing an agenda) and very little makes him genuinely laugh. He prefers to drink alone in his private study where no one is allowed, uninvited. He really likes aged Arabellum Wine. Readers will generally remember this character, but dislike him overall.
Any experiences he might consider romantic, were only with his first wife Sephinia. Maldrake and Galia are the closest persons to friends he has, since his first wife passed away. He is mildly annoyed by the clan Claylen and considers Benedor, Sharalace and Edrakhen his enemies. Oddly Edrakhen is also his hero.
He strongly favors fashionable clothing like those of the upper class merchants in Teek. He often wears one of several ornate, fezz type caps, made of velvet or silk. If her were asked to choose a vacation spot, he’d probably answer “Anywhere I can be the one in power.”

Depending where the character grew up, you might choose something from the tables at Northern or Southern.
Mother & father sent him to Grimoire and the Hands of Glory where he served for two years. People thought it odd that he did not manifest. This was because he had already been Orange exposed. He likes to read, his best topic is debate. After Hands of Glory, he fought alongside Edrakhen Venomborne and saved his life on the battle field. Following his short stint in the war, Brodin was recognized as a hero and eventually became Stewart of Rivercup in Teek. For now, he is successful in this position but things will not go well.
Living Conditions, Situation or Domicile [sws_short s=”domi”]
He lives in a large two story home with a basement, storehouse and a few secret rooms. The front of the home has imposing white pillars. When you consider that this is in Teek, inside you will find lavish furnishings. Living here with him are Tzadee, Althelia, Maldrake, a maid and a butler. And occasionally Galia in the secret rooms.
